Congratulations on your forthcoming wedding, and we're delighted you're interested in having it at St. Peter's Church. Your wedding is a special day for you, your partner and your family and friends.
Churches are special places for weddings - they can be traditional or modern, or even a blend of the two. And they're looked over by our team of clergy and staff to help organise your day as much, or as little, as you'd like.
Our church an seat around 300 people comfortably, has one of the first Harrison & Harrison organs ever made but has a modern feel. From its' deceiving exterior, St. Peter's Church is a calm, traditional building, with a towering ceiling and imposing stained glass windows.
Thanks to recent changes in the law, it is now even easier to get married in a Church of England church. Church weddings are relatively inexpensive too. It costs less than £350 for a church wedding - this covers the legal elements of the service, your certificate, banns and usage of the building. But you may well opt for more, from organists to flowers, or even a band or choir. We're here with advice and help on your day.
